Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity digital-first annual report
Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity (GSTTC) acts as a catalyst for innovation in healthcare to improve the physical and mental health of people living in Lambeth and Southwark.
Soapbox helped them to transform their 2014/2015 annual report into a compelling digital-first presentation of the benefits GSTTC’s work has delivered to local communities, as well as the two leading hospitals that give the charity its name.
Our staff were involved at every stage of the project, first helping GSTTC to identify its key stories from that year and to organise these within an overarching structure. We also looked at ways in which GSTTC could extend its visual identity so the digital-first report would look fresh and distinctive.
We then looked for the best ways to tell the different stories online and created the necessary assets, including interactive infographics, thematic icons, slideshows and video. These were all presented within an easy-to-navigate bookshelf-style interface, which reshapes and resizes for viewing on smartphone screens.
Each element was also developed so that it can be shared quickly and easily via email or social media using individual links and bespoke copy.
And because digital-first doesn’t mean digital-only, we reused the creative work we had done for the online report in a printed version.
