We’re looking for a talented designer with brand experience to join our friendly design team in our Whitechapel studio. Ideally you’ll have 3+ years experience under your belt, bags of enthusiasm, and an interest in working on projects with social progress at their heart.
You’re a creative thinker who enjoys the challenge of creating concepts from scratch and you have an interest in the underlying brand strategy. Your work is underpinned by a strong understanding of typography and you have an eye for detail. You enjoy the freedom and autonomy to make your own decisions, but work collaboratively within a small team. You’re an experienced communicator with a positive attitude, and enjoy working with clients to get to the heart of their brand.
About the role
Working closely with our lead branding designer and brand strategist, the designer will be involved in a range of branding and visual identity briefs, covering projects of all scales and sizes. This role encourages autonomy, so you’ll be able to switch between your own projects and supporting other designers where needed. An active interest in graphic design and wider creative culture is a given, you should have a curious mind and be eager to share. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining a high level of responsiveness. Solid InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop skills are a must, and any experience working in motion graphics would be great.
We are currently updating our brand and website, so this is a great opportunity to have a hand in helping us tell our story to the world.
We’re a design and digital communications agency focused on ideas that matter. We work with many of the world’s leading think tanks, charities and research organisations. Our main services include publication design, digital design and development, branding strategy and design, information design, and film and animation.

An appreciation of the importance of what our clients do – if not always a full grasp of the detailed subject matter – is essential for all our employees.

We offer a competitive salary and a good benefits package with some great perks, including:
- 25 days annual holiday plus the festive break
- Cycle-to-work scheme and tech loans
